What this site collects
Plain-language summary of the information we record when you visit ukiyo.network.
When you browse the site
Our server records each page you view so we can understand which parts of the site are useful and keep it secure. For each page view we store:
- the page address and its title, and the website that sent you here (if any);
- your IP address and, where our hosting provider supplies it, your country;
- your browser, operating system, device type, language, time zone and screen size;
- roughly how long the page stayed open;
- a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie (
ukiyo_vid, up to 180 days) so we can tell returning visitors apart.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell this data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
When you contact us or apply
If you send a message through the contact form or apply for a role, we store what you write (name, email, message, links) together with your IP address and browser details, so we can reply and protect the forms from spam. Applications are read only by the team members who hire for the role.
How long we keep it
- Page-view records are deleted automatically after 180 days.
- Messages and applications are kept until we delete them, normally when the conversation or hiring process has ended.
Your choices
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends either signal, we do not record your visit and we do not set the cookie.
- Cookies. You can block or delete the
ukiyo_vidcookie in your browser settings; the site works the same without it. - Access and deletion. You can ask us what we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing contact@ukiyo.network. If you tell us your IP address we can erase the page views recorded for it.
Who can see it
Only a small number of Ukiyo Network team members can sign in to the private dashboard where this information is shown. Our hosting provider processes requests on our behalf.
